2. Principles of collection and storage of your data

In our data protection statement, we explain the processes in which we collect and store data and the purpose for which this is done. If we do not fully answer your questions in this regard, please contact our data protection officer (contact details in section 2).

a. Purpose and legal basis of data processing

We process data for the purpose of smooth use of our website, for processing inquiries and for processing concluded contracts. The legal basis for the data processing is Article 6 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

b. Deletion or blocking of data when the purpose has ceased to exist.

In principle, the dictates of data economy and limited storage apply. We only store personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes described for the individual measures. After the purpose ceases to apply, we delete the data. If the law requires us to retain data beyond this, we will delete the data after the statutory period has expired.

c. Rights to information, correction, data transfer, deletion and objection

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us at any time. If the data stored by us is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected. You can also request that we transfer your data stored with us in a common file format to you or a third party designated by you.

You can request the deletion of your personal data at any time, provided that we no longer require the data for the processing of a contract with you. Furthermore, deletion may be precluded by statutory retention obligations. In this case, however, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your data. If we process data that we have collected from the outset for purposes other than the processing of a contract concluded with you, you can object to the further processing of the data at any time.

To exercise the rights described, please contact our data protection officer (contact details under section 2).

d. Right of complaint

You have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.

e. Encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use the state-of-the-art SSL encryption method via HTTPS.

f. Changes to our privacy policy

We will always adapt our privacy policy to the current legal requirements. Such a need for adaptation may also arise from the fact that we expand our range of services. If you visit our website again, the new data protection declaration will then apply.

3. Use of the Harvest program for data management

We store and process data with the help of the Harvest program. In the process, data is stored on a server of the provider (Harvest HQ, 16 W 22nd St, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10010, United States) in the USA.
